NEW THIS YEAR:
We are excited to announce that for the 2023 CWJRD volleyball season, we have joined the Mid-State Youth Volleyball League. The league consists of 10 other area volleyball programs including Bloom-Carroll, Fairfield Union, Millersport, Sheridan, Liberty Union, St. Mary's, Fairfield Christian, New Lexington, and Heath. This is a great opportunity to build Canal Winchester's youth volleyball program and prepare our players for the more competitive play they will see on their middle school and high school teams.
-
Teams will be broken out into 7-10 players per team.
-
Practices will be held at Winchester Trails Elementary Schools.
-
Games will rotate between host schools in the league with CW hosting one weekend as well.
-
There will be a small entry fee for spectators to help host sites cover expenses.
-
Practice will begin the first week in August.

We will field teams for three divisions: 3 & 4th grade (combined), 5th grade, & 6th grade. Our program will move away from weekly clinics to a more traditional format that will include twice weekly practices and Saturday morning games. For this program to be successful, we will need parent/adult volunteers to coach. If you haven't coached volleyball before, we can work with you to learn the fundamentals and drills that you will need. Our plan is to hold a coach's clinic to teach you the rules, skills and provide drills that you can run with your players.
